A REFLECTION: Last But Definitely Not The Least

Image
Last But Definitely Not The Least             In the last quarter, I gained a lot of knowledge on the ICT topic, including the creation of a sitemap taught by Mrs. Evelyn Vera Cruz and the usage of Microsoft FrontPage, both of which were new to me. However, it was Mrs. Vera Cruz's instruction that helped me better comprehend the ICT teachings.             I discovered that you don't have to pay attention to everyone, especially those who have a bad impact on your life. Either love them or be willing to pardon them. Next, be yourself! To interact with others, you don't need to alter who you are. Realness is essential in life. And last, put your attention on growing and altering who you are since success in life is the key to your future. As it is said in human education, "Do good, avoid evil," we must constantly put our attention on the positive.           Do what you want ...

10 YEARS FROM NOW: APPENDICES

Image
APPENDICES        10 years from now, i will miss my teenage years.  I envision my life to be full of growth and success. I see myself as a confident and established professional, having achieved my career goals and working in a job that I am passionate about. I imagine that I will have gained extensive knowledge and skills in my field, and will be recognized as an expert in my area of specialization.           In my personal life, I see myself as a responsible and loving partner to my significant other, and as a supportive and caring friend to those around me. I imagine that I will have formed strong connections with people who share my values and interests, and that I will have a close-knit community of friends and family who I can rely on for support and encouragement.           I also envision myself as a well-rounded individual, continuously improving myself through learning and exploration. I se...

CHANGE, START WITH MY EXPERIENCE!

Image
"Change is painful, but nothing is as painful as staying stuck somewhere you don't belong". I have story about my experience. Entitled, "Change, Starts with My Experience". Voices that are heard over and over again in the mind, memories erased by the past, or pain for a child who is separated from his father. Have you ever asked yourself what have you done for your parents? Did you make them smile or laugh? Maybe it made them happy? Have you witnessed the flow of their tears? What did you feel? "Seeing them crying or suffering is heavy on the heart", such are the answers we often hear. As much as it hurts to see them cry, it is double the pain when a child sees a parent crying, Think about it, the parents who can't get better have no desire for the child, but they try to do as much as they can to make the child better. Pillar of the home, supporter of the family, father of the family better known as Father, The man we first loved since we were bor...

BIG SALUTE TO OUR WORKERS!

Image
BIG SALUTE TO OUR WORKERS!                  Every year on May 1, Filipinos everywhere celebrate Labor Day to honor their commitment to hard labor. 'Araw ng mga Manggagawa' is how it is referred to in Filipino. In the Philippines, people unwind and spend the day with their loved ones. Labor movements and parades are components of the festivities in Malacanang (the former American Governor's mansion, now the Presidential palace), as well as in significant cities like Manila. Their grievances, which include the minimum wage, cruel working conditions, and other problems that impair employee rights, are brought to light through these actions. On this day, every diligent Filipino is honored, regardless of their line of work.                On May 1, 1903, the Philippines held its inaugural Labor Day celebration. The nation's first labor union, "Union Obrera Democratica de Filipina (U.O.D.F. )," ra...

Many Thanks, Mom!

Image
Many Thanks, Mom! Every home is filled with the radiance of our mothers. Housewives who have a deep affection for both their partners and their children. Motherhood is a lifelong commitment that continues as long as the mother is alive. In addition to the love and devotion they have for their family. Our mothers start showing us their love and care when they carry us for nine months in their wombs. On the day we are born, our mothers take chances, and we are only able to see a small portion of the beauty of the world. Even though giving birth is challenging, they persevere and care for us while we are still inside the womb in order for us to be born and be able to sustain life in this robust and healthy planet. By guiding us and providing for our needs, you may nurture, adore, and experience love from the bottom of your heart. They are the ones that require care and attention as they age, yet we tend to forget about them.'              ...

A REFLECTION: Still Learning

Image
STILL LEARNING                  Learning and having an education is the real wealth that can never be left behind. There is nothing else a parent dreams of if not for their children to be able to study and eventually also hope to graduate and become a productive being. It is a complete fulfillment to see your children diligently and patiently striving for his education. You will not feel all the tiredness and hardship when the return is the dedication of your children to  their academics .                                                               Here in our society not everyone has and is given the privilege to study. This is due to many factors. Difficulty in life is leading here. Simple alphabets and even writing one's own name are really very diff...

PALASPAS: Opening act of Semana Santa

Image
PALASPAS: Opening act of Semana Santa           “Palaspas.” Every year, Palm Sunday is observed by Catholics in the Philippines. It is a festive event wherein churchgoers raise their “palaspas” (palm leaves) into the air, to be blessed by the presiding priest during Mass. Afterwards, people take home their blessed palm leaves and attach these onto their windowsills and roofs. It is a general belief that blessed “palaspas” can bring good fortune, as well as remove any negativity, in the household.           “Pabasa.” Another long-standing Holy Week tradition is the reading of religious texts, known as “pabasa.”  It usually starts after the Mass on Palm Sunday, but it is also held on the other days of the Holy Week.           The prayer book on the Passion of Christ is chanted in many different ways. The organizer of the “pabasa” prepares two books for the readers. One group reads or chants one ...
